Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Cafendium (https://cafendium.com). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be 13 or older to create an account. Under-18 users need permission from a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
- You sign in with Google, LINE, or Apple. Keep that login secure.
- One person, one account. No bots, scrapers, or automated check-ins.
- You are responsible for everything posted under your account: reviews, photos, check-ins, comments.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit fake check-ins or spoof your GPS location.
- Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexual, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Upload other people's photos without permission.
- Attempt to game leaderboards, badges, or referral programs.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
- Use Cafendium to advertise unrelated products.
4. Content you post
You keep ownership of your reviews, photos, and other content. You grant Cafendium a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and moderate that content within the service. We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
5. Café information
Café data (location, hours, menu) is collected from third-party sources and user contributions. We don't guarantee accuracy. Verified café owners can claim and edit their listing through the cafe-admin portal.
6. Subscriptions (Gold Bean)
- Billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
- Cancel any time from settings — access continues until the end of the paid period.
- No refunds for partial months unless required by law.
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
7. Termination
We can suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. You can delete yours from settings at any time.
8. Disclaimers
Cafendium is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uptime, café accuracy, or that the service will meet your needs. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (or USD 50 if you're on the free tier).
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes go to the courts of Bangkok, unless local consumer law gives you a different right.
10. Changes
We'll post material changes on this page and notify signed-in users by in-app banner. Continuing to use Cafendium after a change means you accept the new Terms.
